Stormceptor® Inspections

If a Stormceptor® unit is not inspected, you don't know when it needs to be serviced. If it isn't serviced, it may eventually cease to perform the environmental function for which it was designed, and you risk a discharge and the subsequent liabilities involved.

Inspections are the corner stone of the cost-effective Minotaur program.

When an unreported incident occurs (i.e. engine oil dumped in a catch basin; gasoline or diesel fuel tank leak), the scheduled inspection will alert you to the fact that an unreported spill has taken place. Immediate action will reduce the risk of a discharge and the resulting costly environmental cleanup costs.

Additionally, inspections can uncover obstructions at the inlet, as well as any damage or irregularities present that will impede the functionality of the unit.

Scheduled inspections fulfill your obligations in the environmental section of your site plan/subdivision agreement, Municipal sewer use by-laws and provide compliance with your MOE Certificate of Approval obligations.

Inspections by qualified Minotaur specialists will both ensure that your program is cost-effective and reduce your risk of discharge. Typically, one site inspection every six months for a minimum of three years will provide the data necessary to establish a maintenance program based on need.

Inspections are supported by written reports suitable for ISO approval, site plan agreements and "sign offs" for reductions or releases of hold back funds.
